From the Consultation to the Finished Robot: Quickly and Easily Set Up

Configured in minutes, delivered in days, ready for operation within hours.

But how do we at linrob manage to keep this promise?

Configuration

Before you order a linear robot from us, we schedule at least one meeting in advance. During this meeting, we focus on your needs and demands. Which configuration and which product series make sense for your application? We will discuss this together live on site or digitally in the virtual showroom.

In our virtual showroom, we can easily view any mounting types and setups of our linear robots. You have little space but still want to automate your production efficiently? How about wall or ceiling mounting? This way you don't block any access routes. Thanks to our virtual showroom, it's easier for you to imagine even larger systems. Once you are satisfied with your configuration, we will trigger the order internally.

Set-Up

We have also made complex production and assembly simple: We have broken down a product from special machine construction into a flexible, scalable series product. Do you need a linear axle that is one meter long – or an eighty-meter one? Within a very short time, we manufacture our profiles and cut them to the right length. Our production team simply installs the electrics, the drive and optionally LED strips and your linrob is ready for delivery within 14 days.

On-site assembly is just as easy. All we need for assembly is a forklift truck. With it we transport our axles to your production hall. Here we first attach the base axle and align it. If necessary, we measure the basic axle with a laser tracker. This allows the entire system to achieve an even higher level of accuracy, and compensation calculations can be carried out even more precisely. We connect the remaining axles to each other with the help of cast slides. Additional measuring is thus unnecessary, and inaccurate mounting is impossible.

The routed electrics between the axles only have to be connected to each other by means of plug connections. In this way, the entire system is assembled at your site in less than one working day.

Commissioning

Now there are only a few simple steps left and your system is ready for operation. First, we start up the linear robot and connect it to our Motion Center via Ethernet. The Motion Center sets the linrob in motion: With it, individual axles can either move to specific coordinates or be controlled manually – with the push of a button.

With this solution, however, only the axles of the linrob can move.

Things only get really high-performance when the linrob axles and your cobot can be controlled together. We have also developed a solution specifically for this:

  • For this purpose, simply upload the CAD data of your system and that of the environment into our software.

  • For your path planning, download the appropriate kit for your application (e.g., welding or palletizing).

  • Now either enter all the coordinates that are to be navigated to or simply use your computer mouse to conveniently navigate the points of your path.

  • Save everything. The software takes care of the path planning and crash detection for you.

  • Even the simultaneous movement of several axles and the cobot is no longer a problem with our software. The best part? You don't need any programming knowledge.

What are you waiting for? You can now get started with your application right away!
